I have an endless fascination with cities and their buildings, particularly old industrial giants and their place in the modern world. Every style of architecture sits alongside another and all serve to show layer upon layer of history, where style and functionality combine to change monstrosities into beauty.
It is at night when I find the scale of city skylines even more powerful and intimidating, when the details of the building are lost and lights create a new skyline.
My paintings reflect the awe, energy and chaos of wandering through city streets and looking up.
